Chariton Valley Association (CVA), a proud partner of Center for Human Services – Missouri, is a private, non-profit organization established in 1982 in Kirksville, MO by a group of parents of children with developmental disabilities who recognized a need for local services. Chariton Valley Association has a proud history of providing high quality support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Northeast Missouri-primarily in Adair County. Near the end of 2022, we announced a merger and partnership with Center for Human Services (CHS) in Sedalia, Missouri. Center for Human Services now serves as the parent company. Together, we serve several thousand individuals across the state, providing support through our various service lines.
